Enterprise Database & Secure Microservices Architecture
A containerized relational system designed around least-privilege access, deliberate query paths, and encrypted sessions.
01 COMPUTING FROM FIRST PRINCIPLES
Computer Science major and Software Engineering minor at South Dakota State University. Originally from Nepal, building robust software systems and secure digital architectures in the US.
A quick systems check before you explore the rest of the orbit.
I’m Ujjwal Basnet — a Computer Science major with a Software Engineering minor at South Dakota State University, originally from Nepal. I like software that stays legible under pressure: predictable failure modes, deliberate data paths, and systems you can reason about at 3am.
Most of my time goes into distributed systems, cloud database engineering, network security, and applied AI/ML — the layers where correctness and performance actually meet.
A connected toolkit spanning low-level execution, secure networks, structured data, and intelligent systems.
Case studies framed around the engineering decisions, operating constraints, and measurable system behavior.
A containerized relational system designed around least-privilege access, deliberate query paths, and encrypted sessions.
Raw socket inspection for surfacing malicious signatures and abnormal TCP handshake behavior in real time.
A predictive pipeline combining structured preprocessing with graph traversal and algorithmic optimization.
Small, working experiments that expose the behavior underneath the interface.
Runtime fingerprint generated locally with the Web Crypto API. No tracking payloads or third-party scripts.
calculating…I’m open to software engineering roles, systems research, and collaborations where performance and security are part of the product—not an afterthought.
